At some point, could you explain or talk about the trend of trousers/pants length being so long they dragg on the ground or hide the foot? How do we manage this without damaging our clothing? What is this doing style-wise? Why is this a choice folks are consciously making? Or is it just a lack of ability/time/energy to get them hemmed? I’m trying to ask this question in a non-judgmental way because I’m legitimately interested in trying this out to see if it could work for me (though I feel skeptical and want other thoughts). I have a couple of pairs of work trousers I love that I have hemmed to a length to wear with heels, but I don’t really wear heels much anymore for comfort reasons, and I’m wondering if there is a fashionable way to wear them with flats without re-hemming.
